Harry to Quit Military in Megxit Deal

The Duke of Sussex fought in Afghanistan on the frontline, but is now severing his official ties to the military as he quits royal life completely. Harry spent 10 years in the forces, and once said how his experience in the Army would stay with him for the rest of his life. Former First Sea Lord, Lord West expressed his regret over Harry stepping down from his military appointments. “The whole situation is extremely sad and I think it is unfortunate, after his splendid service in the military, that he will now no longer be involved with the military in the UK,” he told ITV News. When Harry left the Army in 2015, he vowed to always maintain his links with his fellow servicemen and women. “Luckily for me, I will continue to wear the uniform and mix with fellow servicemen and women for the rest of my life, helping where I can,” he said. Harry and Meghan Expecting First Baby Next Spring

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are expecting their first child in the spring of 2019, almost a year after their glamorous wedding according to a statement released by Kensington Palace. Harry, 34, younger son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, married the former Suits actress Meghan Markle in May at a ceremony that mixed traditional British pomp with a gospel choir and other nods to her American heritage. According to media reports Meghan, 37, was believed to be about 12 weeks pregnant. The baby will be seventh-in-line to the British throne. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the couple’s spokesperson confirmed on Monday (15 October).
