7/7 Terror Attacks: The Iconic Images

Some of the most dramatic images that came to define the London terror bombings on 7 July 2005 were recorded outside Edgware Road Tube Station  in west London in the aftermath of the terrorist attack which claimed a total of 52 victims. The image of a man comforting a female passenger wearing a white protective face mask and another of a bloodied but defiant man in a suit with a bandaged head wound, clutching a plastic bottle and cup defined the atrocities which plunged London into chaos and fear.
